about

In 2013 I copyrighted 3 CD's worth of songs I'd written and demo'd mostly between 2005 and 2010, although a few of the songs were much earlier. How To Live for example a Wild Panzis tune dating back to 1987. Whilst listening back I realised some of the stuff was ok and maybe other people would enjoy hearing a few of my rough demo takes. The criteria I guess was not to over do the number of scratchy recordings presented and not to have any songs that I may decide to re-record in the future as Manoeuvres/Flamingos/Panzis/Stooptz/EPI's or god knows what …. either way quite a few of the OTHER songs on the CD's are going to be reworked and IF I do possibly redo any of these 4 songs they will be fresh recordings and hopefully worth hearing (so I'm kind of apologising in advance !). The first 3 tracks were recorded in Longsight between 2005/10 whilst Never Too Far From Sure was recorded a little earlier in Chorlton. All tracks acoustic guitar/vocals, generally first takes with a minimum of overdubs.

I hope you enjoy M.Bolt (8/9/18) x
